Archie McKenzie

Hey, I’m Archie McKenzie, a comic illustrator and printmaker based in Cardiff, Wales. My books are handmade and my stories are sensitive, queer, kind and a little goofy at times. My work explores identity and circumstance, relationships and decisions. It’s earnest (I literally can’t tell a lie), and I think that emotional honesty makes it stronger. 

As a printmaker and paper construction(ist?), I like to make things that stretch me; six-foot concertinas, screen-printing comics and handbinding any graphic novel people will let me publish. I work with Rhi Fairclough at Inky Fruit Co. to make risograph-printed, handbound publications.
